Crafted from 20D ripstop nylon with a silicone/polyurethane hybrid coating, it offers a lightweight yet robust shelter that’s exceptionally waterproof. Key Features of the Plateau: Wood Stove Ready: A pre-installed stove jack allows a Liteoutdoors wood stove to be easily integrated. No alterations are required. Portable: Both tipi and stove will pack down and easily fit into a backpack. Seam-Sealed: Fully taped seams mean no need for messy, time-consuming seam sealing. Snow Skirt: The 9” snow skirt, also known as a sod cloth, creates a great barrier between you and the winter weather. Maximum Ventilation: Large mesh inserts high in the peak allow humid air to escape, leading to less condensation. Secure Stake Points: 9 Main webbing loops for stakes, and 8 secondary stake points ensure high stability in inclement weather. Guy-out Loops: various mid-panel webbing loops allow a tighter pitch that is more secure. Adjustable Center Pole: Choose between an aluminum or carbon fiber tent pole. A New and Improved Plateau 5 – The Ultralight Version In July 2021, we launched the Plateau 5 Ultralight Teepee Tent, offering all the same features with a 1 lb 3.8 oz. (560 g) weight reduction. This version maintains the durability of the standard Plateau while cutting excess unneeded weight. Elevate Your Experience With a Wood Stove Package Deal Pair your tent with a wood stove to utilize its full potential. This optional package includes a Liteoutdoors Large Titanium Stove with all necessary components, allowing you to create an amazing hot tent setup right out of the box. The package has everything you need, including an 8-foot titanium stove pipe and all hardware required. Optional Additions for Your Camping Comfort Condensation Liner: The optional condensation liner is made from breathable, water-repellent fabric. It connects to the Plateau’s interior, creating a two-walled system for the bottom ⅔ of the tent. This helps mitigate condensation in humid conditions. Plateau Nest: Opt for the Plateau nest, a mesh wall/floor combination attaching to the inside of the Plateau. Ideal for protection during buggy seasons, a nest will convert your Liteoutdoors Tipi Tent into a summer haven. Note that using a stove with the nest requires modifications such as protecting the floor from heat, and installing a stove jack into the mesh wall.
